Dermapen, Micro- Needling

Dermapen is a revolutionary micro-needling treatment, which aims to tighten, lift and rejuvenate the skin.

Dermapen.  You may have heard of it, but what exactly is this magical device? Collagen production you say? Rejuvenation?... To rejuvenate means to restore a youthful appearance.

If your skin is looking a little worse for wear, it will usually be caused by general ageing and effects of the sun, and that is what rejuvenating techniques like micro-needling address.

Micro-needling is an effective form of rejuvenation, tackling scarring, such as acne scars or stretch marks, dark spots and freckles caused by the sun, as well as skin laxity, wrinkles, and large pores.

Dermapen is a multi-function skin therapy that uses a cartridge of 16 thin needles to gently penetrate the skin to break scar tissue and leave it looking firmer, smoother and younger. This treatment is most commonly used to combat scarring, enlarged pores, fine lines/wrinkles, loose/non-elastic skin, eye-bags, sun damage, age spots and stretch marks.

This treatment is based on the natural rejuvenating power of the skin. Shortly after any injury to the human skin, old and damaged skin tissue dissolves and is replaced by new cells. The gentle, controlled needling method used in the Dermapen induces this organic self-repair mechanism on a microcosmic scale. This method is extremely effective and is hugely popular with clients who prefer a rejuvenation method involving significantly less epidermal damage than alternative treatments, such as surgical or laser treatments.
